When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, blood thirsty predator. Holed up in an isolated cabin, tensions mount as long-buried secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group must put their differences aside and fight for survival.

Daywalker’s 2 cents:

“I’ve watched this creature flick several times and it has it all…Jump scares, humor, drama, action, etc.  It’s a high-quality B movie with decent acting, good character development, and good cinematography. A lot of this movie takes place at night, in the woods, so watch it in the dark for full affect. Please don’t overthink this movie! Accept it for what it is, and you will be entertained. It doesn’t quite explain it all, but it does deliver the goods. Like most movies it takes a while to get to the good stuff, but well worth the wait! The first 20 minutes is character development, which it does well, and the rest is “edge of your seat” panic in the dark! This one is definitely on my re-watchable and recommended list.
